Welcome and thanks for joining us on the journey along the lonesome road. We hope that you enjoy it and look forward to hearing about your experiences.
“ I love blues music. After an early 60’s diet of whatever was on the radio, I progressed to The world of John Mayall Volumes 1 & 2 (Decca), which of course was a rich diet of the great (mainly british) bluesmen, and then on to those great “taster” albums of the late 60’s and early 70’s. In the early 70’s I played in the school group and a great influence was Roger Peel, chemistry master and guitarist on his Hofner semi-acoustic – a big thank you to Roger.
It has taken many years and a lifechange to get to here, with huge support from Joan and my friends, so a huge thank you. And a special thank you goes to Phil Mulford for helping me realise this ambition, for working long hours and very patiently to bring it all to fruition.” Ian Wright
